Working with Dalton Quigley and Quigleys Landscaping was a great experience beginning to end. I always wanted to do a fence or barrier of some kind between my front yard and the road, partly for appearance but also for security, to deter a vehicle that might go off the road and slow it down or steer it away from my house, or to prevent a thief in a car from entering. After this, all I would need is a gate on the driveway.. The more I thought about a fence the more I realized it was not a stopping barrier at all, though it would look nice served little purpose. The more I saw boulders in front of stores or homes, I realized that was the best security to prevent a car from entering my yard, and also had a wonderful appearance. As i searched the net and asked friends, Dalton Quigleys name came up. There are very few people that can handle boulders of this size and properly install them, and while it is more expensive than a fence it is permanent, requires no maintenance, and will stop any vehicle. I wanted several boulders, so they needed to match each other and fit well in appearance and style. Dalton mentioned his resources of boulder providers and replied to me immediately after I called him, sending pictures and a price quote.

e matched a set of 6 boulders for me very nicely, came to my house and marked where they would fit well for function and appearance.  His consultation and planning was very thorough, there were no surprises when the truck arrived with my six boulders. He brought a minimal crew, as to not waste my money,  and included me with each step, even moving a few after they were placed to satisfy my view. He and the driver/ forklift operator had an excellent working relationship, moving these several thousand pound boulders with precision. They never marked, scratched, or dropped anything. Any marks made in my lawn were fixed with dirt and new seed so you can never tell any machinery was on my property. I was extremely happy with Daltons work from beginning to end, and would highly recommend him to anybody.
