To create this Xeriscape all you need is :

* Lansdcape Fabric and Sod Pins to hold it in place

* A couple of yards of River Rock

* 4 Rubble Strips ( Stone Broken into strips ) 2 2' 1/2" long and 2 1' 1/2" long

* 4 River Rock Boulders

* 8 Small River Slicks

* 1/4 ton of Fieldstone for the Border

Middle Tn Nashville Xeriscape Herb Garden Instructions:

First Mark your Border

Clear the area for your landscape fabric.

Lay down your landscape fabric over the area for your garden and pin it to the ground.

Bould your Border and Fill the area with River Rock

Place your Boulders in their locations. Leave a space for your Focal point.

Place your River Slicks around in a random natural pattern.

Place your plants around while still in pots and view your garden from different view points.

It is still easy to make changes while the plants are still in the pots.

Once you settle on the exact location cut a hole in the landscape fabric and plant your herbs.
