There are several types of walls we offer to build in your backyard. We build seat walls, retaining walls, and garden walls.
Natural Stone
There is a wide variety of materials to choose from when it comes to your wall. Natural stone is one of the most rustic and relaxed materials , but also the most durable. The color of natural stone will never fade, and it has a strong organic presence.
Pavers
Pavers on the other hand are more formal and regular in shape, and are a formal and clean material. There is a tumbled finish if you are looking to make them slightly less formal, but if regularity in shape and size is what you seek, pavers are for you.
Retaining wall
The most common type of wall for our clients to request is a retaining wall. Retaining walls are functional walls made to hold dirt up on a slope, level an area, prevent runoff of topsoil and mulch, and more. They tend to be made of pavers or landscape block, since those are more cost effective, but can be made in natural stone, or stone veneer as well.
Seating wall
Another highly requested type of wall we build is a seating wall. We tend to use seating walls around circular patios, especially those with fire pits in the center, to act as permanent seating.
Garden wall
Garden walls are the final main type of wall we tend to build for our clients. They are usually six inches to a foot tall, and made of pavers or natural stone, but could also be made of landscape block to be more cost effective. These walls are not the most practical option, as regular edging could accomplish the same task. However, it does add a heavy dose of style and is much more visually appealing.
